LAHORE/MULTAN: The Young Nurses Association (YNA) continued to protest for the second day for not fulfilling their demands for health risk allowances and service structure reform.
Nurses have camped outside Jinnah Hospital and on The Mall and they have also boycotted their indoor and outdoor duties of public hospitals. Their boycott had caused many problems for the patients in public hospitals and their protest had also blocked the roads causing problems for traffic. Mall road, Ganga Ram hospital road and Davis road had traffic jams. YNA was protesting for their longstanding demands for pay-scale up gradation, service structure reform and health risk allowance provision. The nurses have vowed to continue to protest until the fulfillment of their demands.
In Multan as well nurses are out on the roads to protest against recent suspensions of some nurses. They had also claimed that they will not stop protest until their suspension is reversed.
